Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a proactive Inside Sales professional in Malaysia to drive sales for our Ocean Division. You will provide direct customer support, including complex quotations and advanced technical assistance.

Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, you will follow established sales processes, identify customer needs, and collaborate with global teams to optimize quotes and win opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; marine engineering degree is a plus.
• Marine equipment background is a plus (aftersales, spare parts & service).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent team player with ability to collaborate with different stakeholders.
• High customer service orientation.
• Experience in an international setting and with a matrix organization.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and drive to excel.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Follow established sales processes to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services.
• Investigate and identify parts/products needed by customers.
• Create and actively follow up transactional quotes.
• Proactively look for upselling opportunities.
• Follow up quotes to ensure understanding and alignment with customer needs.
• Use CRM and other tools to support the sales process.

About The Job

Job Description

What You Know
