Job summary

Kum Fatt Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Project Engineer to lead site activities, ensure project quality plans, and monitor work progress and schedules at Johor Bahru. The role requires a Civil/Electrical/Mechanical background and at least 2 years in engineering/utilities, with willingness to travel.

The incumbent will oversee health, safety, and compliance with contract specifications, supporting project managers and liaising with authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical & Engineering / utility services or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Engineering / Utility Services or relevant fields.
• Self-motivated and a team player.
• Must be able to lead a team; is an added advantage.
• Willing to travel or relocate.
• Good communication & correspondence skills with Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Well versed with contract engineering specifications by law/standard for utility services.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018 is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise and monitor works at site.
• Prepare & compile LKS reports including BQ claims, as-built drawings, HDD profile, site photos.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and project procedures; lead the activity of team members.
• Coordinate with authorities/clients for project requirements and approvals.
• Assist in progress tracking, schedules, and documentation for client submission.
