Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group seeks Electrical Supervisors/Coordinators to support data centre projects. You will oversee site supervision, coordination with contractors, progress monitoring, and reporting to ensure successful handover of project works.

We require 5–8 years in site supervision or building services, with strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to work on-site in Malaysia. Relocation and hybrid options may be available, with a comprehensive rewards program.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or related.
• 5–8 years of experience in site supervision, project coordination, construction management, or building services.
• Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, testing and commissioning, MEP, or large-scale building projects preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, quality standards and site safety.

Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Coordination: monitor daily construction, attend meetings, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.
• Project Monitoring & Reporting: track progress, prepare daily/weekly reports, document site progress and risks.
• Stakeholder Management: act as primary site contact, facilitate communication, manage site access and permits.
• Quality, Safety & Compliance: ensure compliance with specs and safety requirements, identify issues, close-out actions.
• Documentation & Administration: maintain reports, minutes, RFIs, change requests, and handover docs.

Job description

We are seeking Electrical Supervisors / Coordinators to support the delivery of mission-critical and data centre projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for site coordination, progress monitoring, stakeholder management, quality oversight, and project reporting to ensure successful execution and handover of project works.

Your role

Site Supervision & Coordination

Monitor daily construction, fit-out, and infrastructure activities on site.

Attend site meetings, inspections, and coordination sessions.

Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, and project stakeholders.

Maintain records of site activities, issues, delays, and corrective actions.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

Track site progress against approved schedules and project milestones.

Prepare daily and weekly progress reports.

Document work progress through site photographs and inspection records.

Identify and elevate project risks, delays, and critical issues.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the primary point of contact between project stakeholders at site level.

Facilitate communication and resolution of site-related issues.

Coordinate site access, permits, and operational requirements where necessary.

Quality, Safety & Compliance

Monitor compliance with project specifications, approved work methods, and safety requirements.

Identify quality issues, safety concerns, and non-conformances.

Follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure.

Support inspections, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.

Coordinate defect rectification and close-out activities.

Verify completion of punch list items and handover documentation.

Assist with project completion and handover to the end user.

Documentation & Administration

Maintain project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, correspondence, drawings, and site records.

Track RFIs, site instructions, change requests, and action items.

Support project managers with coordination and administrative activities.

Daily site progress reports.

Weekly progress and status updates.

Site inspection and observation reports.

Defect and action item tracking logs.

Handover and completion documentation.

Project status reports and stakeholder updates.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

5-8 years of experience in site supervision, project coordination, construction management, or building services projects.

Experience in data centre, mission-critical, industrial, testing and commissioning, MEP, or large-scale building projects is highly preferred.

Good understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, quality standards, and site safety requirements.

Experience coordinating contractors, consultants, vendors, and multiple project stakeholders.

Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and project reporting tools.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment.

Willingness to be based on-site in Kuala Lumpur or Johor Bahru as required.
