Job summary

WIL-KEY INTERNATIONAL SDN. BHD. is seeking a Junior Project Engineer in Renewable Energy based in Puchong, Selangor. The role covers engineering design, tender preparation, project coordination and business development for biogas, hydropower and other renewables.

This position offers exposure to the full project lifecycle from business development and preliminary engineering to execution and commissioning, with travel if required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; 1–3 years of project management experience is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Project; knowledge of AutoCAD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering design, technical calculations, drawings and project documentation.
• Support business development, market research and client engagement.
• Prepare tender submissions, technical proposals, BQ and cost estimates.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on technical and commercial matters.
• Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and prepare comparisons.
• Assist in project planning, coordination, progress monitoring and site activities.
• Participate in client meetings, site visits and industry exhibitions.
• Support feasibility studies and evaluation of new renewable energy opportunities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Junior Project Engineer to join our Renewable Energy Department.

The successful candidate will be involved in engineering, tender preparation, project coordination and business development activities for renewable energy projects, including biogas, hydropower and other potential renewable energy project development.

This position offers exposure to the complete project lifecycle, from business development and preliminary engineering to project execution and commissioning.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering design, technical calculations, drawings and preparation of project documentation.
• Support business development activities, including identifying potential projects, market research and client engagement.
• Assist in preparing tender submissions, technical proposals, Bill of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimates.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on technical and commercial matters.
