Job summary

Accesstech Engineering Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur invites applications for a Project Engineer to drive I&C engineering projects across construction and industrial sectors. The role covers planning, site coordination, installation oversight, and commissioning of chilled water control systems and BMS components.

You will liaise with clients, consultants and project teams to ensure quality, timely handover to operations, and compliance with safety and workmanship standards.

• Document and hand over control systems to operations on time.

Job description

The Project team is currently looking for suitable candidates to join us as Project Engineers to drive the ongoing and new projects in the company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for I&C engineering related matters.
• Communicate and coordinate with team and all related stakeholders for planning and scheduling to facilitate smooth commissioning at site.
• Ensure instrument and control elements installation and wire termination are done correctly and within acceptable standard of workmanship.
• Enforce PSE and MEP to rectify any substandard works to ensure good quality of works for reliable operation.
• Lead on-site testing and commissioning of chilled water control system, conduct thorough testing, and validation of control system to ensure proper functionality.
• Documentation and records of T&C.
• Handover control system to operation team in timely manner.
• Respond to operational needs, ensure reliable control and monitoring of control system.
• Configuration and zeroing of instrument, ensure accurate reading received at control system.
• Ad-Hoc duties assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant Qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• For experience candidates, preferably to possess minimum 5 years relevant experience in the Construction / Industrial Engineering industry. Open to candidates with no previous working experience.
• Able to build and install BMS system to monitor and regulate various building services, including ACMV, lighting and power metering, etc.
• Outgoing with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and target oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact effectively with Clients, Consultants, project members and managers at all levels
