Lumileds International is seeking a Project Engineer (1 year contract) for fresh graduates. You will lead industrialization from development to high-volume manufacturing, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, quality and cost targets are met.
Ideal candidates hold a degree in Applied Science or Engineering, with 0–3 years’ experience in manufacturing project management. Strong communication and basic JMP/Excel skills are a plus.

Lead the industrialization of new products and technologies from development through high-volume manufacturing, ensuring successful scale-up, manufacturability, quality, cost, and productivity targets are achieved. Partner with R&D and cross-functional teams to evaluate materials, technologies, and product specifications, identify and mitigate risks, and drive manufacturing readiness. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating builds and product releases while implementing robust process controls, yield improvement, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide clear project status and risk communication to management and ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and security requirements.
Lead and support any and all industrialization aspects of product and technology introduction to high volume manufacturing.
Contribute to product development planning and roadmap by identifying appropriate phosphor, materials and integration technology, identifying risks and validating product specification against capability.
Steer the programs from R&D through to successful release to manufacturing including implementation of good process control, yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement & excursion prevention plans.
Manage multiple projects at the same time and coordinate builds.
Update supervisor on project progress and flag for management attention appropriately.
Complies with environment, security, health and safety requirements.
Degree or its equivalent from a recognized higher learning institution.
0-3 years of working experience in the manufacturing environment especially in Project management. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
