Job summary

Scholpp Asia Pacific Sdn Bhd is seeking a capable Project Engineer to support machine installation, relocation, and site-based project activities in Malaysia. The role requires hands-on engineering experience and willingness to travel for project assignments.

You will work closely with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams at project sites, assisting with planning, coordination, progress tracking, and documentation while ensuring safety and efficiency on all tasks.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience at project sites and with machine installations.
• Willingness to travel overseas and to outstation locations.
• Ability to work independently at project sites with good coordination.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate machine installation, relocation, and other site-related project activities.
• Work with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams at project sites.
• Assist with site planning, project coordination, progress follow-up, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related technical or operational issues.
• Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and per project requirements.
• Travel overseas and to outstation locations for project assignments.
• Perform other engineering and project-related tasks as directed.

Key Responsibilities

Support and coordinate machine installation, relocation, and other site-related project activities.

Work closely with customers, suppliers, contractors, and internal teams at project sites.

Ensure assigned work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

Travel overseas and to outstation locations for project assignments.

Perform other engineering and project-related tasks assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferably at least 2 years of field experience, particularly at project sites.

Hands-on experience in machine installation, machine relocation, or related engineering work is preferred.

Willingness to travel overseas and to outstation locations.

Practical, responsible, and able to work independently at project sites.

Good communication and coordination skills.
