Job description

As a PROJECT ENGINEER at Nine Hundred Builders Sdn Bhd, you will be responsible for the successful delivery construction of Pumping Station, located at Batu Kawan Industrial Park 3 (BKIP3), Penang. In this full‑time role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Developing and managing project schedules and resource allocations.

Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and consultants to address issues and ensure project objectives are met.

Identifying and mitigating potential risks until project success.

Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols.

Providing technical expertise and support to the project team (M&E).

Continuously exploring ways to improve project efficiency, cost effectiveness and quality of works (ISO compliance).

What we're looking for

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3‑5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in the construction industry.

Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules.

Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Proficiency in using construction management software – advantage if experienced with Microsoft Project.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
