Job summary

Ovivo Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable Project Engineer/Manager to oversee site and project management and daily operations for industrial water treatment systems.

You will plan, schedule, monitor, and update projects to meet completion targets, coordinating with suppliers and end-users to ensure contractual deliverables. The ideal candidate has a degree/diploma in chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering and 3–5 years of related experience; fresh graduates may be considered.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of project management/engineering/operations in industrial water treatment.
• Fresh graduates may be considered.
• Willing to travel domestically and overseas.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Site and project management and daily operations for industrial water treatment systems.
• Plan, schedule, monitor and update projects to meet targets.
• Coordinate site activities and report progress through to handover.
• Monitor fabrication progress to meet schedule and quality requirements.
• Liaise with sub-suppliers/sub-contractors for procurement and in-situ execution of projects.

Job description

Site and project management and daily operations, routine/ad hoc service work for industrial water treatment systems

Overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets

Site co-ordination, monitoring and report work progress for construction until project handover

Monitoring manufacturing progress of fabricators to ensure schedule timeline and quality requirements as per agreement

Liaising, negotiating and managing sub-suppliers/sub-contractors in the region with respect to procurements and in-situ execution of sales contracts or projects

Assist Project Manager to coordinate and communicate with end-user customers, local and regional suppliers to produce deliverables as per contractual specifications and schedules

Compiling and handing over operation and maintenance (O&M) manuals to end-user customers

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably 3-5 years of related experience in project management, project engineering, and operations for industrial water treatment systems
• Fresh graduate could also be considered
• Willing to travel both domestically and overseas
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia
