Job summary

You will manage planning, coordination, and documentation, with a focus on resolving issues quickly and maintaining project quality. The role requires English proficiency and the ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on troubleshooting experience with OS, networks or servers in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Ability to work with ambiguity and incomplete documentation.
• Strong sense of urgency, time-management, and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage IT infrastructure, network, system, and technical projects from initiation to completion.
• Act as the main point of contact between the company, clients, technical teams, and vendors for project-related matters.
• Oversee the implementation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of network and IT infrastructure projects.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to support the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure and IT projects. The role will work closely with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and according to requirements.

Job Description:

1. Project Planning & Coordination

Plan, coordinate, and manage IT infrastructure, network, system, and technical projects from initiation to completion.

Develop project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and manpower requirements.

Coordinate project activities with internal teams, clients, vendors, and contractors.

2. Client Management

Act as the main point of contact between the company, clients, technical teams, and vendors for project-related matters.

Attend project meetings and provide regular project updates to clients and management.

Understand client requirements and coordinate the necessary technical and operational support.

3. Technical Project Management

Oversee the implementation, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of network and IT infrastructure projects.

Review technical requirements, project specifications, and proposed solutions.

Provide technical guidance and support to project team members when required.

Ensure project activities are carried out according to approved technical specifications.

4. Project Monitoring & Delivery

Monitor project progress, timeline, resources, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed within agreed schedules.

Track project issues, risks, dependencies, and provide timely corrective actions.

Ensure all project milestones and deliverables are achieved according to client requirements.

5. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare project plans, progress reports, meeting minutes, project status updates, and other relevant documentation.

Maintain proper records of project activities, technical changes, issues, and deliverables.

Ensure project documentation is complete and properly handed over upon project completion.

Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate mitigation actions.

Ensure project implementation follows company procedures, client requirements, safety standards, and applicable IT/networking practices.

Monitor the quality of project deliverables and resolve technical or operational issues.

7. Project Handover & Closure

Coordinate testing, commissioning, acceptance, and handover of completed projects.

Ensure all required technical documents, configurations, reports, and handover materials are completed.

Conduct project closure reviews and document lessons learned.

Requirement:

A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

2+ years of experience with hands on troubleshooting on operating system, network or servers in a high paced environment

Proficiency in English is a necessity

Must be able to work with ambiguity and incomplete documentation

Strong sense of urgency, time-management, and able to work under pressure
