Job summary

RecruitFirst Pte Ltd in Malaysia seeks an Admin Networking Management, Contract Associate to oversee project administration and coordination with engineers and PMs. You will monitor timelines, costs and quality, and apply the Project Management Methodology across scheduling, resources, logistics and budget control.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects and provide technical and management guidance to the assigned PM or engineers.
• Monitor all projects closely to ensure they are completed within time, cost and quality constraints.
• Adopt the Project Management Methodology for project implementation including scheduling, resource planning, material logistics, coordination, supervision, quality control and budget control.
• Formulate the overall project plan in consultation with management and other parties concerned.
• Ensure the project meets customer quality standards and that subcontractors comply with quality requirements.
• Train and maintain a team of project personnel, leading and motivating them for better teamwork.
• Liaise with government authorities to obtain approvals and work with consultants and contractors.
• Maintain good relationships with customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure project documentation and correspondence are maintained properly.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers and shipping forwarders to achieve delivery objectives.
• Check delivered equipment and materials against contract specifications.

What you'll be doing on the job

  • The project scheduling, resource planning, and material logistics, overall management, coordination, supervision, quality control/assurance and budgetary control of projects implemented.
  • To formulate the overall project plan, with consultation with management and other parties concerned.
• To ensure the project meets the quality standards expected by the customer, that is:
  • To ensure minimal defects and re-work by ensuring quality requirements are met.
  • To ensure subcontractors comply with the quality requirements.
• To train and maintain a team of competent and motivated project personnel, in order:
  • To continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the project team by continuously leading, guiding and motivating them through better teamwork and spirit.
  • To liaise with government authorities and other regulatory bodies to ensure approval is obtained.
  • To liaise and work closely with consultants and contractors.
