Job summary

Jora Malaysia invites a Civil Engineer to supervise site construction works at IPoh project sites, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with drawings and authorities.

You will coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and government bodies, review shop drawings and RFIs, provide on-site direction, and report to the Project Manager. Must have a Civil Eng degree and 3+ years of roads/infrastructure experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of strong work experience with roads & infrastructure projects, preferably with JKR.
• Team player with ability to interact at all levels and good interpersonal/communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• To supervise site construction works and monitor project progress/schedule.
• Ensure the sub-contractor’s adherence to construction documents and latest Authorities’ regulations.

• Assist in reviewing Contractor’s Submissions (shop drawings, materials, RFI, etc.).
• Provide all necessary on-site direction.
• To provide timely reports and feedback to the Project Manager/Director.
• Check measure of work done.
• Monitor sub-contractor’s resource allocation.
• Assist in reviewing the project’s close out documents.
• To conduct any other task assigned by the superior and Management.
