Job summary

Promatrix DC Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a seasoned project planner and engineer to manage day-to-day planning and lead engineering initiatives for the project. You will oversee site management, procurement, construction, and project control, ensuring on-time progress and budget alignment while upholding EHS and QA/QC standards.

Strong coordination across trades and clear reporting to Senior Manager and PMO are essential.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day planning and engineering initiatives for the project
• Responsible for project functions; e.g. Site Management, Project Control Management, Engineering Management, Procurement, Construction Management, etc.
• Supervise and prepare methods for the project and any installation procedures, task plans and guidance
• Monitor site progress against budget and forecast schedule
• Ensure EHS and QA/QC standards of works by trade cons are met
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of works progress to Senior Manager
• Identify and notify Senior Manager and Executive Manager (PMO) of any additional works or changes that constitute a variation
• Always ensure coordination and communication with all trade cons
• Prepare meeting minutes for project meeting
• Manage project closeout and obtain all warranties for final acceptance
