Job summary

C.E.M.B. Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join our Penang-based team. This full-time role focuses on delivering engineering projects on time, within budget, and to high quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams, manage schedules and resources, and contribute to risk management and continuous process improvement while mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in relevant engineering building services.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with project management processes and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and quality.
• Manage schedules, budgets and resources to optimise efficiency.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Project Engineer to join the dynamic team at C.E.M.B. Engineering Sdn Bhd. This full-time position is based in Northeast Penang Island District, Penang, and will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from concept to completion
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to optimise efficiency and productivity
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, and implement appropriate risk management strategies
• Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, offering guidance and mentorship as needed
• Collaborate with the project teams to develop innovative solutions and enhance project outcomes under guidance from project manager.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance standards
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices
• Work closely with various trades on-site to ensure seamless coordination and timely project completion
