Job summary

SK8 Engineering in Bandar Penawar, Johor, Malaysia, seeks an experienced engineer to lead genset enclosure projects from concept to delivery. You will plan, execute, and coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to meet schedules and budgets.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years in project management, design or commissioning, and proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Strong teamwork and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in engineering project management, design, or commissioning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of genset enclosures, including ventilation, noise control, structural design, and material selection.
• Excellent project coordination, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and ensure cost and quality control.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, for liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and oversee genset enclosure projects from design to delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely project completion.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Support site commissioning, troubleshooting, and technical evaluations.
• Identify and resolve project risks, technical issues, and engineering challenges.
• Prepare project progress reports and provide updates to management.
