Job summary

Triton AI Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced AV Project Manager to lead end-to-end hospitality-focused AV installations across hotels, resorts and convention centres.

You will oversee scope, budgets, schedules and stakeholder communication, coordinating design, installation, testing and commissioning of AV systems while ensuring quality and on-time delivery. Travel to project sites is expected; PMP/PRINCE2 experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, PM or related field.
• Experience in AV project management, preferably in hospitality (hotels/resorts/convention centres).
• Strong technical understanding of AV: audio, video, control, networking and integrated solutions.
• Solid experience managing contractors, system integrators and multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end Audio-Visual projects, with a strong focus on hospitality environments such as hotels, resorts and convention facilities.
• Oversee project scope, budgets, schedules and deliverables to ensure successful completion within agreed timelines.
• Act as the main liaison between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal engineering teams.
• Coordinate design, installation, testing and commissioning of AV systems including conferencing, digital signage, LED walls, sound systems and control systems.
• Manage project risks, technical challenges and site issues, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Ensure projects comply with industry standards, technical specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Provide regular project updates, reports and presentations to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution, documentation and team performance.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in Audio-Visual project management, preferably within the hospitality industry (hotels, resorts, convention centres).
• Strong technical understanding of AV systems including audio, video, control systems, networking and integrated solutions.
• Solid experience managing contractors, system integrators and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast-paced site environments.
• Familiar with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2).
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
