Job summary

Pintas Utama is seeking a site Civil Engineer in Malaysia to oversee slope, roads and infrastructure projects. You will monitor field activities, review sub-contractor submissions and ensure compliance with project drawings and authorities' regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with at least 3 years' hands-on experience, willingness to travel and operate at outstations, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of strong experience with slope, roads and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Follow up construction activities at site.
• Ensure sub-contractor’s adherence to construction documents and latest regulations.
• Assist in reviewing contractors submissions (shop drawings, materials, RFI, etc.).
• Provide all necessary on-site direction.
• Liaise with JKR, consultants and subcontractors.
• Monitor sub-contractor’s progress on site.
• Assist in preparing documents for project handover.

Job Requirement

• Slope experience will be an added advantage preferably with JKR project.
• A team player with the ability to interact at all levels.
• Willing to travel and work outstations.
• Able to work under pressure and independently with minimal supervision.
