Adecco in Malaysia seeks a Project Controls professional to lead cost control, estimation, and reporting for CAPEX projects. You will manage costs, schedules, risks, and change management across project lifecycles, collaborating with Finance and Procurement.

SAP proficiency is essential, as is experience with PM processes in industrial environments. Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Finance is required, with hands-on project controls experience.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance
• Experience in Project Controls, Project Cost Control, CAPEX Project Management or Engineering PM
• Experience preparing project cost reports, cash flow forecasting, CAPEX tracking, and budget monitoring
• Good understanding of project lifecycle from initiation to handover
• Hands-on experience with SAP for PO tracking, project costing, budgeting, cash-out forecasting, and reporting

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly engineering reports with KPI’s including CAPEX and site investments
• Develop project cost estimations and value improvement reviews
• Benchmark project cost and scheduling performance
• Monitor and report on cost, schedule, and risks
• Establish change management and manage project changes
• Coordinate POs with Procurement/Finance and route charters
• Maintain SOPs and standards in project management
• Perform stage gate reviews (PDRI) where applicable
• Complete project handover and feedback benchmarking data

Description du poste

• Prepare the Monthly Engineering reports with key KPI’s CAPEX, Site investment council etc
• Develop Project cost Estimation and Value Improvement Review
• Perform Project Cost and scheduling benchmarking
• Prepare Project Controlling and Execution plans if applicable
• Define Project Risk Management (Safety, quality, functional, project execution) if applicable
• Perform Project Reviews (e.g. Technical Quality Review(TQR), Constructability) if applicable
• Perform Project monitoring & reporting (Cost, Schedule, Risks)
• Establish Project change management and manages changes
• Execute Project Stage gate keeping and project definition level rating (PDRI) if applicable
• Setup project claim management
• Develop project phasing in terms of cash out and with Finance for monthly update. Work with Project managers / users for cash out phasing and monthly phasing. SAP knowledge is must for this task.
• Route the Project charters, Car form A for approval based on SIC and work with Procurement/Finance to issue the PO’s
• Manage Project Deficiencies and deviations
• Create final project report and feedback project benchmarking data and lessons learned
• Complete Project handover form and CAR Form E as applicable.
• Maintain the SOP and other standards in Project Management / Project Controls.

Must-Have Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience in Project Controls, Project Cost Control, Project Controller, CAPEX Project Management, or Engineering Project Management.
• Experience preparing project cost reports, cash flow forecasting, CAPEX tracking, and budget monitoring.
• Good understanding of project lifecycle from initiation to handover.
• Hands-on experience with SAP for PO tracking, project costing, budgeting, cash-out forecasting, and reporting.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, FMCG, chemical, oil & gas, or industrial environments.
• Exposure to Stage Gate Process, PDRI (Project Definition Rating Index), Risk Management, and Change Management.
• Experience handling multiple CAPEX projects simultaneously.
