Job summary

CPI (Penang) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced program manager to oversee a key business account in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will drive project execution, align engineering and operations, and ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in project/program management, with strong communication, planning and cross-cultural collaboration skills. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Job description

Manage a business account (hereafter known as program) to ensure all the tasks are being carried out effectively with sound project management approach, good planning follow-through and efficient prioritization of key strategies in a timely manner.

Coordinate and consolidate all RFQ activities relevant to the program to seek to win all ongoing and future businesses.

Execute the functional deliverables associated with the program.

Direct and coordinate all program start-up with NPI engineering and operational team.

Oversee the business development of the program (or new programs) such as scoping out new business opportunities, strategic planning, negotiating business agreements and contracts, conducting market studies and analysis and other pertaining matters with regards to the marketing and sales aspect of the program concern.

Job Requirements:-

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Demonstrated time management skills including the ability to plan, managing account details, forecast scheduling within the stipulate given time.

Ability to utilize project management tools, eg. Microsoft Office project management or other equivalent tools or system to plan, manage and analyze project information.

Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally, and the maturity to work independently with minimum supervision.

Possession of good oratory skills of presentation and communication in the delivery of concise and clear information to the internal and external customers.

Recognition of project risks and potential problem in anticipating and identifying proactive action to minimize impact.

Build in "SPC" control on moulding conditions. Our EMS division for box build operations is also poised for growth. As of today, CPI has produced over 1000 items of different products for various industries such as Telecommunication, Computer, Electrical and Electronics, Automotive, Leisure Marine Industry and also other Industrial plastics parts, that caters for local and as well as export market such as the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, USA, Italy, Japan, China, Taiwan and Indonesia.
