Job summary

Plexus Corp. in Penang, Malaysia, seeks a Program Manager to lead the Customer Focus Team and manage the day-to-day customer relationship.

You will be the voice of Plexus to the customer and ensure alignment with program contracts and goals. You will engage with customers on delivery commitments, conduct quarterly reviews, site visits, and negotiates PPV/NRE, while driving improvements in customer service through Plexus Core Values and tracking performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience; 2+ years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Customer Focus Team and manage day-to-day customer relationship.
• Engage with customer on delivery commitments, quarterly business reviews, site visits and negotiate PPV and NRE.
• Drive improvements in customer service leveraging Plexus' 5Es and Core Values.
• Leverage financial metrics to identify risks and variances and take corrective actions.
• If there are direct reports, lead and coach them to realize their potential.

Purpose Statement

The Program Manager leads the tactical interface between the customer and various Plexus functional areas. This position is responsible for leading the Customer Focus Team (CFT) and managing the day-to-day customer relationship. In essence, be the “voice of Plexus” to the customer and the “voice of the customer” to Plexus.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Engage and lead the Customer Focus Team(s), ensuring that the team(s) understand(s) the overall program contract(s) / goals, are performing consistently and are empowered to make decisions and solve problems as they arise.
• Take the lead in engaging with Customer(s) in respect of delivery commitments, quarterly business reviews, site visits and negotiating PPV and NRE.
• Lead systematic improvements in customer service and satisfaction in respect of the Plexus' 5Es and Plexus Core Values
• Leverage operational cost and quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities and collaborate with support functions to proactively develop and implement solutions.
• Proactively leverage knowledge of financial metrics to identify risks and variances to plan, and take action to mitigate such risks and variances.
• If have direct reports: Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Education/Experience Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's is required.
• Two (2) years of related experience is required; Two (2) or more years of related experience is preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key job accountabilities may be considered.
