Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking an experienced Program Manager for the Program Management Office. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams to develop and implement products or services, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality targets.

The candidate will lead multi-disciplinary programs involving hardware, software, and system solutions, applying Six Sigma and established PM practices to drive performance and business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in electrical & electronics, or mechanical disciplines.
• 3–7+ years of experience in program management.
• Experience with hardware, software and system solutions.
• Negotiation and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services.
• Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or services.
• Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance.
• Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and within quality metrics.
• Participates in project reviews and status meetings, communicates project status.
• Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.
• Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance.

Job Description

Manages the development and/or implementation of Motorola Solutions products or services. Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded existing products or services. Manages projects from inception to completion (or transition), including tracking and evaluation of project performance. Ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and within accepted quality metrics. Participates in project review and status meetings, and communicates project status. Utilizes six sigma and project management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness. Motivates project team to ensure optimal performance. May assist in the development of business plans, strategies, and approaches to take advantage of business opportunities.

Basic Requirements

• Engineering degree in electrical & electronics, or mechanical disciplines - Demonstrated success with multi-disciplinary experience in project/program management within the telecommunication, technology industry
• 3-7+ years’ experience
• Experience in managing complex programs with program and project managers inclusive of hardware, software and system solutions
• Negotiation skills
• Leadership skills
• Good working knowledge of project management tools
