Confidential is seeking an experienced Programme Director – Data Center to own end-to-end delivery of a 19-month development across multiple buildings and HV infrastructure. You will chair steering committees, manage budget and schedule, and align cross-functional teams including client, EPCs, and the PMC.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in construction, with data center or mission-critical facilities experience in Southeast Asia, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in construction PM with 5+ years in a Programme Director role.
• Experience delivering large-scale data centers or mission-critical facilities in SEA/Indonesia.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong communication.
• Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering; PM certification preferred.

OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Programme Director – Data Center to carry overall accountability for the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Data Center development, encompassing multiple buildings (DC1 110MW, DC2 144MW) and critical infrastructure including HV Substations. The Programme Director represents the client/PMC at the highest level, driving strategic decision-making, stakeholder governance, and programme-wide risk management across a 19-month deployment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide strategic leadership and direction across all phases of the Data Center programme, from shell & core through to commissioning and close-out.
• Serve as the primary interface between the client, senior stakeholders, contractors, and the project management consultancy.
• Establish and govern the overall programme schedule, budget, and reporting frameworks.
• Lead the Leadership Team and Technical Team, ensuring alignment across all workstreams.
• Chair programme steering committees and executive-level progress reviews.
• Identify, elevate, and resolve critical risks and issues impacting programme delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian statutory, safety, and quality regulations.
• Manage contractual relationships with key vendors, EPC contractors, and specialist subcontractors.
• Drive a culture of safety (HSE) and operational excellence across the programme.
• Provide timely executive reporting to senior client leadership and key stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 5 years in a Programme Director or equivalent senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale mission-critical facilities (Data Centers, hyperscale infrastructure, or similar) in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
• Strong understanding of Data Center MEP systems, shell & core, and commissioning processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia; strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations, labour law, and permitting processes.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing multi-million-dollar programme budgets.
