Job summary

Flex (The Flex Company) is seeking a Program Administrator for its Mechanical Plant Batu Kawan, Penang. The role supports customer accounts and coordinates across Program Management and Operations to ensure programs run on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 6 years in manufacturing, strong functional and people management skills, and ability to communicate with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in addition to minimum 6 years of experience in a manufacturing or related Industry.
• Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing program proposals or plans to define time frame, procedures, staffing requirements and resource allotment for program phases.
• Confers with Program Management, Operations and others to outline work plans and assign duties, responsibilities and authority scope.
• Coordinate projects with the Customer Focus Team (CFT) to ensure program progress on schedule and within budget; facilitate cross-department communication.
• Prepare program reports and executive presentations for management, client, or others.
• May assist in metric development and tracking for the program.
• Occasional travel to customer locations.
• Drive continuous improvement activities impacting project timeline, cost or daily production.
• Follow up on shipments to meet site and customer guarantees without delays.
