Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia seeks a Workshop Manager to coordinate annual, quarterly, and monthly production plans and drive their execution. The role focuses on resource optimization, schedule adherence, and achieving quality targets through lean methods.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production management, familiarity with electroplating and PV silicon wafer processes, and strong cross‑department coordination with fluent Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field; majors preferred include Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines.
• Over 5 years of production management experience in large manufacturing enterprises.
• Familiarity with electroplating processes and the production flow of photovoltaic silicon wafer cutting consumables is preferred.
• Excellent team management, cross-department coordination and ability to work under high pressure; fluent oral and written Chinese communication.

Responsibilities

• Formulate annual, quarterly and monthly production plans aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and supervise their implementation.
• Optimize allocation of production resources to meet schedules with guaranteed quality and quantity.
• Coordinate and dynamically schedule the entire production process and continuously improve efficiency and OEE.
• Strengthen on-site production management and promote lean production system implementation.
• Analyze and optimize production costs and establish a comprehensive cost control system.
• Apply Industrial Engineering methodologies and lean tools to continuously improve production processes.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or above (Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering or related disciplines)

Job description

Formulate annual, quarterly and monthly production plans for the manufacturing department in a coordinated manner based on the company’s strategic objectives, and supervise their implementation.

Optimize the allocation of production resources to ensure the completion of production tasks on schedule with guaranteed quality and quantity.

Take charge of overall coordination and dynamic scheduling of the entire production process, and continuously improve production efficiency and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Strengthen standardized on-site production management and promote the implementation of the lean production system.

Conduct analysis and optimization of production costs, and establish a comprehensive cost control system.

Apply Industrial Engineering (IE) methodologies and lean tools to continuously improve production processes.

Job Requirements

aged 30 to 40; Bachelor’s degree or above, with majors in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering or other related disciplines preferred.

Over 5 years of production management experience in large manufacturing enterprises.

Familiarity with electroplating processes and the production flow of photovoltaic silicon wafer cutting consumables is preferred.

Excellent team management skills, cross-departmental coordination capabilities and ability to work under high pressure; fluent oral and written Chinese communication.
