Job summary

Coherent Corp. seeks a capable Training & Development lead to oversee training, certification, and cross‑training across shifts. You will develop individuals, update manuals, and certify operators while ensuring ISO‑compliant records. The role interfaces with engineers on new products and processes.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma in management or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, and demonstrates strong process knowledge and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in management, administration, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of processes and area requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage training, certification, and cross‑training across shifts and areas.
• Develop individuals and teams, assist members in solving problems, and provide input to training personnel.
• Design, conduct, and maintain formal training programs such as process‑flow training, 5S, and lean.
• Update training manuals and certify new operators, and conduct recertifications as required.
• Instruct operators to safely operate machines, brief them on process changes (ECO), and maintain training records per ISO.
• Monitor and audit process conformance, evaluate operator performance, and motivate new learners.
• Work closely with engineers on new products and processes.
