Job summary

UCT is seeking a Supervisor, Production in Malaysia to oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring manpower is effectively planned and deployed to meet production and shipment targets. The role drives product quality, resolves line issues, and leads cross-training efforts to build team flexibility.

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's in engineering (or related), 6–8 years in welding, and at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years welding industry experience.
• At least 5 years supervisory/leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with TIG and Orbital Welding and machining processes.
• Strong knowledge of cleanroom protocols and compliance standards (ISO14644-5, GMP).

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing operations activities.
• Plan and deploy manpower according to production requirements.
• Ensure production and shipment are on time (OTD).
• Ensure product quality and adherence to standards.
• Lead cross-training and 5S/lean activities.
• Guide team to resolve day-to-day line issues and CIP initiatives.
