IOT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor invites an experienced Production Supervisor to lead night shift SMT/MI operations. You will supervise line activities, drive productivity, and ensure targets are met while coordinating with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse and Maintenance teams.

A Diploma in Manufacturing/Engineering and 2 years supervisory experience are required; Oracle ERP familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (SMT/MI PCBA background preferred).
• Fresh Diploma graduates in relevant engineering fields with leadership potential welcome.
• Willingness to work night shifts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and cross-departmental communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift shop floor operations to meet daily targets.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse and Maintenance to resolve bottlenecks.
• Lead containment actions and root-cause analyses for quality issues and downtime.
• Drive productivity initiatives to minimize waste, scrap, and rework.
• Ensure seamless shift handovers, monitor production metrics, and report performance to Operations Manager.

Production Supervisor (SMT / MI Operations - Night Shift)

IOT Manufacturing is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to oversee and lead night shift manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on Surface Mount Technology (SMT) and Manual Insertion (MI) processes. This role offers an outstanding platform to lead production and elevate your career through shop-floor leadership, cross-functional coordination, and driving shift efficiency.

Key responsibilities

Manage night shift shop floor activities, ensuring smooth line operation, output efficiency, and achievement of daily production targets

Partner closely with Planning, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to resolve shift bottlenecks promptly

Lead immediate containment actions and root-cause analysis for quality non-conformances and line downtime during the shift

Drive line productivity initiatives to minimize waste, scrap, rework, and overall manufacturing costs

Manage seamless shift transition handovers, track key production metrics, and report operational performance directly to the Operations Manager

About you

Minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a process-related field

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (SMT/MI PCBA process background preferred)

Fresh Diploma graduates in relevant engineering fields with strong leadership potential are welcome to apply

Willingness and flexibility to work dedicated night shifts and support operational schedules

Familiarity with ERP systems like Oracle is highly advantageous for fast workflow integration
