Job summary

KLK Alami Edible Oils Sdn Bhd is seeking a plant operations supervisor to ensure smooth production and adherence to quality. You will monitor sampling, adjust processes as advised by QA, and maintain logs with timely reporting.

The role requires leading a team, providing training to technicians, and ensuring compliance with quality standards such as ISO, GMP, and HACCP. Experience with jerry can blowing operations is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have technical qualifications in related field.
• Experience reading PID drawings and plant processes is preferred.
• ISO, GMP, and HACCP knowledge is a plus.

Job description

Ensuring the smooth operation of the plant in meeting production targets as well as quality products.

Monitoring product sampling and perform adjustment as per QA advice.

Monitoring and recording all production related log sheet and submit the reporting on time.

Ensuring the work request, work permit system and quality system are being adhered to strictly.

To identify any potential product failure, safety concern (near miss) and ensure corrective measures are being adhered to.

Providing training to new and existing technicians to ensure their skills are enhanced to avoid any mishaps and lost time incidents at the work area.

To carry out any other work instruction from a superior at any time.

Comply with all quality standards and requirements imposed by the Company and product specifications required by local and international clients.

Experience in jerry can blowing plant operations is an added advantage.

To perform any other duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Success Requirements

Possess a technical degree, diploma, or certificate in the related field.

At least 3 years’ experience in plant operations as supervisor or equivalent, preferably working in a similar industry.

Able to read PID drawings and Process & Hazard of the plant is an added advantage.

Able to do adjustment and operate the jerrycan blowing machines.

Troubleshooting skills in jerrycan quality issues and complaints are an added advantage.

Candidate with knowledge in ISO, GMP, and HACCP is preferred.

Good leadership skills.

Able to perform with minimum supervision.
