Sperton Global AS is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees production staff, ensures product quality, and maintains GMP standards while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in a production supervisory role, strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, and proven leadership abilities to optimize productivity and safety

Qualifications

Secondary School / High School or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervisory role within manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
GMP, HACCP and safety compliance knowledge.
Multilingual skills are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities including steeping, germinating, kiln drying, and roasting processes.
Implement approved production recipes and adjust parameters to meet specifications.
Monitor production schedules, build plans and backorder priorities.
Ensure efficient use of utilities to support cost‑effective operations.
Lead and develop production staff; conduct training and performance reviews.
Communicate with warehousing, QA, logistics and other teams to resolve issues.
Identify process improvements and support Lean initiatives.
Review production reports and maintain operational documentation.

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead and manage production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production staff, ensuring product quality, maintaining GMP standards, coordinating with cross‑functional teams, and driving continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Operations

Supervise daily production activities including steeping, germinating, kiln drying, and roasting processes.
Implement approved production recipes and adjust parameters to meet product specifications.
Monitor production schedules, build plans, and backorder priorities.
Ensure efficient use of utilities to support cost‑effective operations.

Quality, GMP & Compliance

Ensure strict compliance with GMP, housekeeping, HACCP, and quality system requirements.
Monitor quality of incoming raw materials and finished products.
Accompany GMP and quality auditors and implement corrective action plans.
Assist in maintaining and updating quality documentation, SOPs, and records.
Act as liaison for pest control activities.

People Management & Training

Supervise, motivate, and develop production team members.
Conduct and oversee training for new and existing employees.
Ensure all employee training is completed, documented, and compliant.
Promote a safe and positive work environment aligned with company policies.

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with warehousing, QA, bulk packaging, sterilization, logistics, and other manufacturing teams.
Communicate effectively to ensure timely shipment and resolution of production issues.

Continuous Improvement

Identify and recommend improvements to processes, equipment, and facilities.
Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Use data, KPIs, and analysis to drive productivity and efficiency.

Administrative Duties

Manage time & attendance, holiday planning, shift planning, and travel coordination.
Review production reports, build plans, and operational documentation.
