Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment and quality control.
• Familiarity with InCircuit Test is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production team to meet targets weekly and monthly.
• Improve manufacturing processes to boost productivity and efficiency.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of production equipment.

Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking to join a reputable and growing manufacturing company? As a Production Supervisor at E XING PRECISION DESIGN SDN. BHD., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our production department at our facility in Butterworth, Penang. This full-time position will allow you to leverage your strong technical and leadership skills to ensure efficient and high-quality production outputs.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating the activities of production team to meet weekly and monthly production targets
• Improve manufacturing process to increase productivity and efficiency
• Overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment and machinery
• Providing on-the-job training and guidance to production team to develop their skills and knowledges
• Identifying and addressing production issues or bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions
• Collaborating with other departments, such as Engineering and Programmer, to resolve production-related challenges
• Manage production team, spearhead the operation, documentation and manufacturing process
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to production activities
• Ensuring a safe and compliant work environment for all production personnel
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by Management

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong technical aptitude and knowledge of production processes, equipment and quality control
• Knowledge of InCircuit Test are required
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and troubleshooting skills
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of production workers
• Proficient in reading and interpreting production drawings, schematics and other technical documents
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional team
