Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee store workers and shop floor activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A minimum Diploma in Manufacturing, Production Management, or Engineering is required, with experience in production supervision, shop floor operations, or warehouse management considered an advantage.

Knowledge of QMS, EMS, safety requirements, and production processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma qualification in Manufacturing, Production Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in production supervision, shop floor operations, or warehouse management is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of QMS, EMS, safety requirements, and production processes.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capability to supervise, train, and guide workers.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead store workers in stock handling, movement, and storage according to the layout and plan.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness on the shop floor.
• Carry out shop floor activities in compliance with QMS, EMS, and safety requirements.
• Supervise workers’ performance and provide training and guidance.
• Report issues related to QMS, EMS, and safety rules to the superior.
• Work with the superior on improvement projects.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by the superior.

• Report any issues or deviations related to QMS, EMS, and safety rules to the superior for appropriate action.
• Work closely with the superior on improvement projects.
• Carry out any additional or specific tasks assigned by the superior.
