Job summary

ISOTOP CORPORATION SDN BHD in MUAR, southern Malaysia, is looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations, ensure safety, quality, and efficiency, and lead the production team.

The role involves monitoring output, organizing production scheduling, coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering, and driving continuous improvement to meet targets.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in any field.
• 1–2 years in production preferred; training provided.

Job description

We are looking for a Production Supervisor to oversee daily production operations and ensure the production process runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The successful candidate will supervise the production team, monitor production output, organize production scheduling, and ensure quality & operational standards are consistently maintained.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced production professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and has strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet production targets and schedules.

Lead, motivate, and monitor production operators to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency, and take corrective action when required.

Ensure production processes are carried out according to company procedures and quality standards.

Identify production issues, investigate root causes, and implement appropriate solutions.

Monitor the usage of raw materials, equipment, and other production resources to minimise wastage.

Ensure machines and equipment are properly operated and maintained.

Coordinate with other departments such as Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Engineering to resolve operational issues.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety, health, and housekeeping requirements.

Prepare and maintain production reports, records, and relevant documentation.

Train and guide production team members on work procedures, safety requirements, and best practices.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.

Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the management.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree inany field.

Preferably 1–2 years of relevant experience in production or manufacturing operations (but NOT compulsory, as training will be provided).

Previous supervisory or team-leading experience will be an added advantage.

Strong understanding of production processes, workflow, and workplace safety.

Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with different departments.

Proactive, responsible, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
