Job summary

Seven (Malaysia) Industrial Sdn Bhd in Kuantan is seeking an experienced Production Planning & Material Control Manager to lead production planning, material control, and order fulfillment at our Kuantan facility. You will optimize inventory, coordinate across functions, and drive improvements to ensure smooth operations.

You will manage MRP, inventory, and ERP data while leading a skilled PMC team to achieve on-time delivery and efficient manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in PMC, Production Planning, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, MRP, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
• Experience with ERP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent planning, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from order receipt to on-time delivery.
• Develop and monitor production plans based on customer demand and production capacity.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage material planning (MRP), inventory levels, and material availability to support production.
• Monitor order fulfillment, identify delivery risks, and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
• Optimize inventory turnover and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy for orders, production planning, and inventory.
• Analyze operational KPIs, including on-time delivery, production plan achievement, inventory turnover, and material availability.
• Drive process improvement, digitalization, and AI applications to enhance planning efficiency.
• Lead and develop the PMC team while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
