Job summary

Feiken Bearing Sdn Bhd in Kapar, Selangor invites a motivated Production Intern to join our manufacturing team. This full-time internship offers hands-on exposure to production, planning and scheduling within a leading bearings facility.

You will work with experienced professionals, assist in scheduling, inventory checks, quality inspections, and data recording while learning ERP/production planning tools. Eligible candidates are currently enrolled or recently graduated in Manufacturing

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed degree/diploma in Manufacturing Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping and data analysis
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior staff
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Punctuality and reliability with a strong commitment to health and safety practices
• Preferred experience or knowledge of production planning software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products
• Support production planning in coordinating materials, equipment and workforce allocation
• Observe and document production processes, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains
• Assist with inventory management and stock level monitoring on the production floor
• Support quality control activities by conducting basic inspections and documenting production data
• Liaise between different departments to ensure smooth communication and coordination
• Perform general administrative tasks related to production planning and scheduling
• Contribute to maintaining a safe and organised production environment in compliance with health and safety standards
