Job summary

Dufu Technology Corp. Bhd. is seeking a Production Planner in Penang to manage production and material planning based on demand, forecast, and capacity. You will release orders, monitor inventory, and coordinate with QA, Logistics, and Production to keep shipments on track.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–3 years' experience preferred. Strong Excel skills and analytical abilities are important for success in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of experience in production planning, production control, or manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with strong interest in manufacturing operations are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of production flow, scheduling, and inventory control is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery to customers by effectively managing production planning and material coordination.
• Perform production planning and material planning based on customer demand, forecast, production capacity, and product cycle time.
• Prepare and release manufacturing orders, production schedules, and work instructions to relevant departments based on confirmed orders and forecasts.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock level, avoiding overstocking and production interruption; raise Purchase Requisition (PR) for required materials.
• Coordinate with customers on delivery schedules and proactively resolve issues that may impact shipment timelines.
• Work closely with Production, QA, and Logistics teams to develop recovery plans in case of delays or production disruptions.
• Review production capacity periodically and raise potential capacity constraints or order overflow to management.
• Prepare and communicate delivery schedules to Logistics and relevant departments to ensure smooth shipment arrangement.
• Ensure production planning data is accurately maintained and updated in the system for reporting and tracking purposes.
