Responsibilities

• Assist the Scheduler with scheduling duties as required.
• Complete status reports on production progress, customer information and materials inventory.
• Support the Production Planning department by understanding the production process and plant procedures.
• Prepare schedules for all production equipment and daily production reports with production personnel.
• Plan production tasks and schedules according to customer orders for the blowing and cutting dept.
• Coordinate production activities with the supervisor to improve runtime.
• Develop and review production plans with the supervisor for approval.
• Monitor the execution of production plans and resolve potential issues promptly.
• Escalate complex issues to the supervisor for resolution.
• Monitor production progress to ensure final products meet quality standards and customer specs.
• Adhere to company standards and production policies to meet objectives.
• Analyse delays and interruptions and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Work with production supervisors to check and update packing materials.
• Prepare production materials, labels, stickers with barcodes and cutters as required.
• Monitor and update packing material inventory weekly (cartons, PP/HDPE/LDPE, labels, cutters).
• Coordinate and record transit of semi-finished products from other branches.
• Prepare monthly, mid-year and yearly production reports.
• Conduct yearly stock take (twice a year).
• Perform other duties as required.
