Job summary

Ha Li Fa Pte Ltd in Malaysia is seeking a Production Planner to develop and manage production schedules, coordinating workflow across one or multiple products and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

You will determine resource needs, assign staff to operations, monitor progress, and collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and sales to optimize workflow for customer requirements. This role requires a Diploma or Degree in SCM/Business Administration and SAP/Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience in production planning, material planning, or inventory control, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and deadlines to meet predicted completion dates.
• Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
• Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
• Determine manpower, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
• Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations.
• Schedule shifts according to production needs.
• Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
• Address issues when they arise, aiming for minimum disruption.
• Obtain output information and analyze production efficiency.
• Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff to optimize workflow.
