Saiyakaya (M) Sdn Bhd, a Malaysian manufacturer of protective films and adhesive packaging, seeks a production planner to optimize schedules and resource use. You will work with sales, procurement, and operations to forecast demand, resolve bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, quality control, and timely reporting. Join a team of 11–50 employees and contribute to efficient production in a growing manufacturing

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify optimization opportunities.
• Proficient in using production planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and generate production schedules to meet customer demand and targets.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and other departments to ensure accurate production forecasting.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve productivity.
• Manage and optimize manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve targets efficiently.
• Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
• Implement and enforce quality control to meet standards.
• Analyze production data and generate reports to support decision-making.
• Communicate with internal teams and customers on production and delivery status.

Develop and generate production schedules to meet customer demand and operational targets

Collaborate with sales, procurement, and other relevant departments to ensure accurate production forecasting

Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve overall productivity

Manage and optimize the use of manpower, equipment, and materials to achieve production targets efficiently.

Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity

Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed quality standards.

Analise production data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement

Communicate with internal teams and customers on production and delivery status regularly

Maintain reports for production planning activities and sequences

Conduct regular safety training and promote a safety-conscious culture among production staff.

Lead and motivate the production team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.

Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.

Generate regular reports on production performance, including key metrics, efficiency, and any challenges encountered.

Prepare all related reports related to your department's production.

Any Ad-Hoc tasks assigned by management.

Requirements
