  • Calculate, monitor, and optimize machine capacities, efficiency, and output.

  • Lead stand-up meetings and mitigate risks; liaise with customers on supply updates.

Job Summary

The Production Planner is responsible for developing and managing production planning activities to ensure on‑time delivery of customer orders. This role involves scheduling, capacity optimization, inventory control, and cross‑functional coordination with procurement, warehouse, production, and customer service teams. The Planner plays a key role in maintaining accurate planning data, mitigating supply risks, and supporting operational efficiency in an electronics manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage daily production schedules and customer shipment coordination.
  • Plan and oversee production schedules to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Calculate, monitor, and optimize machine capacities, efficiency, and output.
  • Analyse customer forecast demand trends and develop feasible production plans.
  • Coordinate with customers and service teams to prioritize orders and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, including on‑hold/quarantined stock, slow‑moving items, and excess buildup.
  • Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Lead stand‑up meetings, address production abnormalities, and enhance communication.
  • Liaise with customers regarding order and supply demand updates.
  • Collaborate with production teams to prioritize job orders aligned with demand.
  • Proactively highlight potential missed shipments or build plan risks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
  • Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning, PMC, or related field within electronics manufacturing, OEM, or EMS environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MRP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative team player.
  • Highly responsible, proactive, and results‑driven with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage workloads and deadlines.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards preferred
