Job summary

Agilent Technologies is seeking a Production Planner / Scheduler in Bayan Lepas, Malaysia. You will develop daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing capacity, inventory, and labor utilization.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Procurement to balance demand and supply, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to maintain on‑time delivery and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, MES or equivalent.
• High-volume manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.

Job DescriptionThe Production Planner / Scheduler is responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules that ensure on-time delivery to customers while optimizing manufacturing capacity, inventory levels, labor utilization, and material availability. This role works closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Procurement team to balance demand and supply while supporting operational efficiency and business objectives.
