Job summary

Ascentec Engineering Malaysia, located in Batu Kawan Industrial Park, Penang, seeks personnel to operate on the assembly line per drawings and schematics. The role includes CNC setup and operation, loading programs, and adjusting tool offsets to ensure smooth production.

You'll inspect parts with calipers and micrometers, follow safety procedures, and provide reports to staff. Additional duties may be assigned by management as needed, supporting a world-class CNC facility serving international

Responsibilities

• Builds products on the assembly line per drawings, instructions and schematics.
• Implements metal surface finishing activities including but not limited to polishing and buffing.
• Inspects assembled products for faults or defects.
• Assists Engineering department on CNC setup and operation; loads programs and sets/adjusts work/tool offsets.
• Checks parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges.
• Follows safety procedures and regulations to maintain safe operations.
• Provides reports as necessary to appropriate staff.
• Observes and learns Ascentec's procedures and documentation.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
