Job summary

LINKTEL TECHNOLOGIES SDN.BHD. in Penang, Batu Kawan, Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator to carry out core manufacturing tasks in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires following SOPs, maintaining safety, operating equipment, and assisting the team to hit daily targets while accommodating 12-hour rotating shifts.

Candidates should be prepared for overtime, wear PPE, and have basic English; Mandarin is a plus, with electronics/semiconductor experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Education at least secondary school or higher.
• Willing to work in cleanroom with PPE.
• Experience in electronics/optical/semiconductor is an advantage.
• Able to stand long hours and rotate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and handle production activities per SOP.
• Maintain cleanliness and follow ESD/cleanroom rules.
• Work in cleanroom environment wearing PPE.
• Support team to meet daily production targets.
• Follow supervisor instructions and perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

- Operate and handle production activities with follow the work instructions (SOP).

- Maintain cleanliness, follow ESD/cleanroom rules, and ensure safety at all times.

- Work in cleanroom environment in compliance with PPE required.

- Support team to achieve daily production targets.

- Follow instruction from superior and perform any other duties or tasks assigned by superior.

Requirements:

- Preferable Education level : secondary school or above

- Preferable with experience in manufacturing or related field.

- Willing to work in clean room environment and wearing jumpsuit.

- Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

- Willing to commit working overtime when required. (Especially during Weekend, Public holiday and festival season)

- Good eyesight, health condition with no physical disabilities, critical illness, disease.

- Familiar in using electronic device. Prefer with computer literacy.

- Experience in electronics / optical communication / semiconductor production is an added advantage.

- Required languages : basic English reading, knowledge in Mandarin will be an advantage.

- Require physically long hour standing and/or sitting operation.
