Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Operations Intern to support daily production workflows in the printing industry, learning how to balance safety, quality, and cost-efficiency under supervision.

You will assist in production planning, order fulfillment, inventory and logistics, vendor management, quality control, and cross-functional teamwork, with hands-on training and mentorship from industry professionals.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality.
• Hands-on attitude with willingness to learn equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning: Assist in managing print job schedules and prepare daily production checklists to ensure workflows are efficient and deadlines are met.
• Order Fulfillment: Support the end-to-end fulfillment process, including printing, picking, and packing goods for customer deliveries.
• Inventory & Logistics: Conduct routine stock-taking, manage inventory levels, and coordinate logistics to arrange for timely deliveries.
• Vendor Management: Handle supplier quotations and compare rates to ensure we get the best options for our production needs.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are strictly adhered to so that all jobs maintain a consistent, high-quality output.
• Team Collaboration: Build effective working relationships with the Sales team, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
• Administrative Support: Assist the Production Supervisor with day-to-day administrative tasks, including data entry, workflow management, and filing.
