Job summary

GMRecruitment Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Senior Production Manager to lead overall production operations in a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Johor Bahru. You will plan output, quality, cost, and delivery targets while ensuring safety compliance and adherence to SOPs.

The role requires 5–8 years in production, at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, and strong knowledge of semiconductor processes. Multilingual communication (Mandarin, English, Bahasa Malaysia) is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field)
• 5–8 years production/manufacturing experience, preferably semiconductor industry
• At least 3 years in supervisory or management role
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor production processes
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (to support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders)
• Able to work in fast-paced manufacturing environment
