Job summary

Purem Aapico Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Welding Operator role in our automotive components facility in Selayang, Malaysia. You will ensure trained and qualified welding operations, maintain SMAC cycle times, and lead 5S activities in the GAP area to sustain quality and safety.

The position requires a minimum certificate in Welding Technology Engineering or equivalent, 3+ years in automotive manufacturing, and knowledge of welding robot programming; shift work including night and day

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate in Welding Technology Engineering or Equivalent.
• At least 3 years related work experience in automotive components manufacturing.
• Experience in exhaust system industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding robot programming is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• To ensure operator is working as per trained and qualified.
• To ensure welder operator standardized work in accordance with operation instructions (safety, process, quality).
• Responsible for the 5S in the GAP area.
• To lead troubleshoot on welding defect due to welding robot or process.

To ensure welder operator standardized work in accordance with the operation instructions (safety, process, quality)

Responsible for the "5S" in the GAP area

To ensure welding lines are running smooth and per SMAC cycle time.

To lead troubleshoot on welding defect due to welding robot or process.

Requirement Profile:

Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:

Minimum Certificate in Welding Technology Engineering or Equivalent.

At least 3 years related working experience in automotive components manufacturing industry, experience in exhaust system industry will be a plus.

Knowledge and experience on welding robot programming (will be advantage for this position).

Team player, good communication, active, Self-motivation.

Able to work in shift: night shift/day shift.
