Job summary

EB Frozen Food Sdn Bhd in Malaysia's Kedah state is seeking a Production Executive to assist in the production department and drive efficient operations on the factory floor.

You will study processes, optimize workflows, coordinate with engineering and maintenance, and help maintain product quality, GMP, safety and cost controls. Fresh graduates are welcome; Mandarin, English and Malay literacy is required. Own transport preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in any field; Food Technology, Food Science or Nutrition is advantageous.
• Internship or fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with diverse cultures and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with production processes and analyze workflows to improve efficiency.
• Design, modify and test production methods and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Improve daily quality efficiency and monitor GMP, yield and cost control.
• Ensure product and process quality through testing and standard setting.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and operations on autonomous maintenance SOPs.
• Plan manpower, scheduling, 5S, safety and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Production Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Familiar production process, conduct studies to determine and develop the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods for troubleshoot & resolve problem arising from operations, maximize utilization of production equipment/ machines and manpower.

Designing, modifying and testing production methods and equipment & conferring with equipment/ machine vendors.

Continuous improve production efficiency by reviewing, analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements and equipment layout.

Monitor and continuously improve daily quality efficiency performance at specific area in production and provide reporting.

Guaranteeing the uniformity of products by undergoing quality control, cost effectiveness, environmental & safety control into a process.

Assures product and process quality by designing and testing methods; testing finished product & process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming production processing.

Work closely with operation team to establish, develop & review autonomous maintenance standard operating procedure (SOP) in production floor.

Coordinating, liaise with engineering, maintenance and operations on autonomous maintenance services and analyze & monitoring the schedule autonomous maintenance progress by provide solution or improvement steps.

Manpower planning, job scheduling, product quality, GMP enforcement, yield productivity, cost management, cleaning & sanitation, autonomous maintenance, process control & improvement, follow up and monitoring job progress, 5S and safety, etc.

To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by the management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Possess at least Diploma/ Degree in any field. Qualification in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition or equivalent will be added advantages. Any other professional certificates will take into consideration as well.

Internship and fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with diverse cultures and regional/ global colleagues.

Able to speak & read Mandarin, English and Malay. Mandarin is required to read packaging printing info.

Candidates must be result oriented and self-driven. Highly organized and able to multitask in fast-paced environment.

A hands-on person and willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Possess own transport.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Power Point.
