Job summary

VISUAL PRECAST SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Engineer to oversee the production line across all products and materials. The role focuses on planning, forecasting, and coordinating multiple teams to ensure timely manufacture and delivery of precast components. Emphasis on safety and ISO standard adherence.

Responsibilities include ramping up material planning, manpower forecasts, and collaboration with Planning, QC, Sub-contractors, and Mould teams to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and forecasting of mould and raw material requirements.
• Forecast manpower planning for production lines.
• Adherence to safety regulations and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Run the production line for all products and materials, ensuring smooth operations.
• Plan and forecast mould and raw material requirements for production.
• Calculate and forecast manpower planning for the production line.
• Raise purchase requisitions for production materials and ensure proper storage in the factory.
• Carry out trial mixes and update design mixes; amend concrete batches as needed due to moisture content fluctuations.
• Assist Production Manager in managing supervisors and workers to ensure timely production and delivery of precast components.
• Coordinate between Planning, Quality Control, Sub-contractor, technical, Material Procurement and Mould teams for smooth production.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and ISO procedures and standards.
• Monitor material usage and wastage; ensure end products meet quality requirements.

Job description

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Engineer is responsible for running his production line, including all incoming, in process and outgoing works for all products and materials.

A summary of the responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

To perform optimal planning & forecasting of mould and raw material requirement.

To calculate and forecast manpower planning for the production line

To raise purchase requisition for production material requirements and to ensure that materials are properly stored in the factory

To carry out trial mixes, maintain and update design mixes; and amend concrete batches due to fluctuation of moisture content mostly of raw materials

To assist Production Manager in managing a team of supervisors, and workers in ensuring timely production and delivery of precast components

To coordinate between Planning team, Quality Control team, Sub-contractor, technical team, Material Procurement and Mould team to ensure smooth production

To ensure compliance with all safety regulations as well ISO procedures and standards

To monitor/control material usage & wastage

To ensure end product meets projects/clients quality requirements and specifications

Adherence to safety practices in the workplace
