V.A.B. Industries in Malaysia seeks a degree-qualified engineer to lead production enhancements, mould and cutter development, and quality improvements across the manufacturing process.

You will design and inspect new moulds, set up production methods, and collaborate with machine personnel to optimize efficiency, with training provided and a strong focus on cost and quality control. Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Strong computer literacy across MS Office and CAD software.
• Fluent in Malay and English (both written and spoken).
• Printing process knowledge is advantageous.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Study and get the maximum quality of output for costing purposes.
• Design and draw moulds & cutters; liaise with maker for design, costing & quality issues.
• Inspect new moulds/cutters prior handover to production supervisor.
• Set up new production methods and processes; prepare production sheets.
• Improve current production methods and processes; handle quality issues with production team.
• Involve in selecting and developing new machines; ensure proper use and maintenance; modify machines for performance.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
