Job summary

PELTECH FILTRATION SDN BHD in Kulai, Johor, Malaysia, is seeking a motivated Production Engineer / Project Engineer to join its growing fabrication and manufacturing team. You will plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities and ensure targets are achieved on time.

You will monitor progress, resolve delays, and coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics to ensure material availability.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical / Engineering Technology or related engineering field.
Experience with metal fabrication and reading fabrication drawings.
Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and deadline-driven.
Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and specs.
AutoCAD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly production activities
Ensure production targets are achieved on time
Monitor production progress and resolve delays or bottlenecks
Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure material availability
Ensure fabricated products meet customer specifications and quality standards
Work closely with the QA/QC team to resolve quality issues
Monitor welding, cutting, bending, machining, and assembly quality
Supervise production operators, welders, machinists, and fabricators
Assign work according to production schedules
Monitor manpower efficiency and productivity
