Job summary

Eastern Pretech (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Planning Engineer. Based in Seelong, Johor, you will prepare and monitor the overall production planning and liaise with the Design Department on production drawings.

You will work closely with the production team, plan mould requirements, forecast materials, and coordinate with site representatives to ensure timely deliveries. Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering and 3–5 years' experience in precast are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in precast industry.
• Knowledge/experience in production planning and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor overall production planning.
• Liaise with Design Department on production drawings.
• Coordinate with the production team on planning.
• Plan mould requirements.
• Monitor production work as planned.
• Liaise with site representatives and stockyard on deliveries.
• Forecast, prepare and order materials for the project.
• Handle new tasks due to ERP system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

To prepare & monitor the overall planning for production.

To liaise with Design Department on the issuance of production drawing.

Works closely with the production team on planning.

To plan for mould requirement.

Monitoring of the production work as planned.

Liaise with the site representative on installation progress.

To liaise & correspond with site representatives and stockyard on deliveries to site.

Forecast, preparing and ordering of materials required for the project.

New works or task be added at any times when necessary due to new ERP system.

Any other job function assigned and new responsibilities may be added as and when necessary from time to time.

Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering

3–5 years of relevant experience in precast industry

Knowledge/experience in production planning and coordination
